Today my friends threw me a beautiful baby shower! I feel so blessed by all the gifts and care that went into each gift and card given to our family. I am so exhausted at the moment from a full day of activities, and I will share more later. I wanted to post a couple of pictures from the day. I am getting bigger every day as I am just 3 weeks from the due date. I feel as if I could give birth at any time now. I finished up work on Friday, and now with the shower celebrated and over, I am officially in the homestretch. Yikes! Here we go...on a BIG adventure!

Wow, ALina. Just 3 weeks!!! You are going to be a real, live mommy. I want to call before the big day. What's your schedule like? Wide open, I guess, right?:)

Dearest Alina---I enjoyed our talk tonite and how much our God has blessed ya'll. So missed being at the shower to watch you open the gifts but can't wait to hold that precious one in my arms. God is teaching patience and it's not easy. Take care and hope you have a great week wrapping things up to complete your school year. Just a reminder--you might want to get that hospital bag packed sooner than later.....God has His own timetable for Karis no matter what the ultrasound states. Please let me know when you ask your mom was she early or late with her due dates. You are loved! Mama K
Yeah!! Any day now! I really hope my L&D blog didn't scare you too much, the reality is that I would do it all over again in a heartbeat, the pain was only temporary, but the joy is eternal! I can't wait to see the pictures of Karis!!! Good Luck with everything! ~Lexy

I know, I know...don't faint. I'm actually blogging again-- just for you! I got your package yesterday. Thank you so much. No one has given us any "daddy" paraphenalia so I was excited to see "I love daddy" socks!!!! You look great! I am definitely a little bit bigger than you...ok, so I could double as Shamu at Sea World. Too bad we don't live in FL....We had an ultrasound today (Doctor was worried about my size), but everything came back perfectly normal, which is relieving and it was exciting to see Ian inside me,too.
